Wichita State Shockers 1960s Vintage Tee
While this depiction of WuShock is fun and friendly, the original Wichita State mascot was one mean bundle of wheat. In 1948, then-student and former WWII Marine Wilbur Elsea designed a mascot with, in his words, “a serious, no-nonsense scowl” and intimidating persona to represent the Shockers. As time went on, more lighthearted depictions of WuShock came to life, including this 1970s-era Wu, designed by Bill Jackson for the WSU alumni association.
Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
