Inspired by the ā70s and ā80s-era arched āTulsaā from their basketball jerseys, we combined that mark with a depiction of the Golden Hurricane from a vintage pennant. Early depictions of the Golden Hurricane tended to look like storm clouds or tornadoes (weāre guessing because hurricanes are hard to make look like mascots), and eventually, Captain āCane was transformed into a human superhero mascot with a hurricane symbol on his chest.
