We kept it simple with this arched “UNC” and Rameses logo, set on a certain powder blue Tar Heels recognize from a mile away. Carolina Blue dates back to the 1790’s with the Dialectic and Philanthropic Societies, student societies that were a hallmark of university life. The “Di” and “Phi” each had corresponding colors worn to formal university events – soft blue and white, respectively.
