Penn State "We Are" Retro Dad Hat
With this retro cap, "We Are" honoring one of college sports' most iconic battle cries. Initially, the "We Are Penn State!" chant originated as a stand against racism in the 1948 Cotton Bowl. In the 1970s, Nittany Lions cheerleaders brought the call and response back: after one half of Beaver Stadium yells, "We Are," the other responds, "Penn State!"
