Notre Dame 1977 National Champs Snapback
On October 2, 1977, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish stormed out of the locker room in green jerseys, sending the home crowd into a frenzy. USC never stood a chance, in what became known as the Green Jersey Game. Behind Joe Montana, the Irish beat USC, wore green jerseys the rest of the season, and didn't lose again. To honor their 1977 national championship, we drew inspiration from those kelly green jerseys, and coach Dan Devine's classic kelly green cap.
