Long Live the Stags Vintage Heavyweight Tee

Fairfield's first athletic team, Men's Cross Country, adopted the name "Men in Red" in 1947. One year later, Fairfield added a basketball program and the student put forth two potential mascots: the Chanticleers or the Stags. The Board of Trustees voted for the Stags, and the rest is history. Long live the Stags!
