His legacy reached far beyond the field ā he spearheaded the Baby Tigers youth mascot program, encouraging them to excel in school, serve their communities, and maintain a positive attitude. Since Chambersā passing, a JSU student now assumes the role of Wavee Dave; often, theyāre former Baby Tigers or members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
