Fight for Iowa Crewneck
"Fight for Iowa" comes from the Iowa Fight Song, one of three fight songs in the Iowa Marching Band's repertoire. Though the first bands were formed in the early 1900's, the band became the true counterpart to Hawkeye football in 1954, when ambitious head football coach Forest Evashevski challenged the band and director Frederick C. Ebbs to become a show band fit for the Rose Bowl.
