Originally founded as the East Alabama Male College, Auburn was renamed twice more before becoming Auburn University. Even when it was known as the Alabama Polytechnic Institute (up until 1960), you’ll find some vintage memorabilia that calls the university “Auburn." For this design, though, we opted for a classic, collegiate look you'd surely see on campus in the 1980s or 1990s, well after Auburn became the school's official name.
