ABA Carolina Cougars Retro Logo Tee
After two less-than-stellar seasons in Houston, then-Congressman Jim Gardner and the Southern Sports Corporation purchased the Mavericks, and, for the start of the 1969 season, moved them to North Carolina. Branded a "regional team," hoping to entertain basketball lovers in all the major metro areas of the state, the Cougars played the majority of their games in Greensboro. This design honors their final season as the Cougars, in their green and blue color scheme.
Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
